There are days when we don’t think about David’s cancer, but we are frequently reminded about the battles friends and family are facing, some having been recently diagnosed with this cruel illness. It is at these times that we become increasing aware at the advances that have been made in recent years and the value of testing.
Having recovered from a calf muscle injury earlier in the year, he is now back to exercising and playing golf. He is managing the lymphoedema caused by the removal of lymph nodes. The stocking kept falling down, so is now trying tights with one leg, hoping that the waist support helps.
I am noticing more and more people with moles on their back during my aqua classes, and have started to point out any that look suspicious. Not an easy thing to do, but I feel compelled.
