David’s PET scan showed that there is still no cancer in his major organs, so with the pump gone he was given the all clear to continue taking the cancer drugs. What a relief! Just one biopsy to go, and then no planned tests or scans for another three months. The wound on his leg is getting smaller, but a ribbon dressing still needs to be inserted into the hole every couple of days; the plastic surgery dressings clinic isn’t open at weekends, so the nurse asked me to do it! I did use disposable gloves as I’ve been gardening today.
