Issue 128: 22 January 2012

Another year older!

I took a couple of days off work at the beginning of the week and had some amazing photographic opportunities; I even saw an angel in the frost!

The above was an ice formation on a leaf, as are these:

I've been researching the possibility of photographing snowflakes with my high magnification lens, and it is possible! Not easy though!

On Monday I spent another couple of hours in Cheslyn Gardens because there was so much to capture:

It was like looking through a kaleidoscope as I twisted and turned my camera; through it I saw so many different combinations of light, patterns and colour.

I even felt inspired to finish another drawing!

On my birthday, Rebecca and I went out for a cooked breakfast and then went to see a film at The Rex: a restored art deco cinema. She even paid ...

... the 50p for the car park!

On her birthday we went all went out to a Harvester; the food was yummy and the portions gigantic!

Naomi had a hair practice yesterday; her cousin, Hannah, styled it beautifully. Only three months until the wedding!

This week I'm going to partly redesign my website and I have started a new drawing!
